STE(+A)M refers to an educational approach that integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into the curriculum. This approach aimed to foster Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Problem-Solving skills by combining these disciplines in a cohesive learning strategy. The competition had been active in nurturing the Creativity of children who did not have opportunities to express their Creativity.
Creative Thinkers Foundation(CTF) initiated this STE(+A)M event in India. They worked to provide a platform where individuals could identify their strengths and embrace teamwork and leadership qualities. This unique forum evaluated individual creative proficiencies and the effective contributions of these individuals in team projects.
In three years, over a thousand children from around 70 schools participated in Spontaneous Problem-Solving and STEAM-like events. They received International Exposure through participation in events such as the DECATHLON in South Korea and Odyssey of the Mind in the USA.
STE(+A)M creates a holistic learning experience that prepares students for the challenges of the future. This integrated approach fosters a diverse set of skills and encourages innovative thinking. Below is a breakdown of the key components that build a strong community:
