CTF was invited to conduct a session at the Science Fusion Fair, organized by Vigyan Prasar (an autonomous body of the Department of Science and Technology). The three-day event was held from May 21 to 23, 2018, with the goal of providing students with a hands-on experience to explore the joy of learning science.
Additionally, CTF conducted a session at another valuable training workshop for the Vice Principals and Administrative Officers of DPS, which was held for five days, from June 11 to 15, 2018. The workshop focused on ‘Experiential Learning’ specifically preparing tasks with experiential and assessment parameters
During the Teachers' Training (held from June 11 to 15, 2018) on ‘Experiential learning’, teachers designed hands-on tasks aimed at enhancing student engagement. For example, students explored the states of matter by melting ice and observing condensation, which encouraged active participation, collaboration, and reflection. The assessment focused not only on students’ understanding of the scientific concepts but also on their involvement in the learning process.
A Motivational Workshop and Orientation Session was held at SGT University, Gurgaon on 14th September 2018, with nearly 180 students participating.
Similarly, another workshop was conducted at Bundelkhand University, UP on 11th October 2018, where over 200 students took part.
In September and November 2018, CTF was invited to conduct sessions for aspiring teachers on the topic of "Hands-on Activities and Nurturing Creativity." During two workshops at Satyam School of Education, the organization delivered motivational lectures aimed at inspiring and empowering future educators.
